Although the final list of topics is still being determined, here are some you can expect to see. Please suggest a topic if you like.
The topics will include:
- EPICS 10 – Yes, the next generation of EPICS is in the works. We have a lot of ideas of what to include but we really need your ideas, too. Come and take part in the future of EPICS.
- This year we will focus on four categories. These categories include topics for all EPICS users:
- Scheduling – New shared fab machines, die oven scheduling, die management, billet queue, downstream department scheduling, and more.
- Traceability – Chemical composition and casts, lot numbering, managing racks, billet tags, configuration options, and more.
- Keeping People Informed – New features for notifications, notes and alerts, report scheduling, EPICS Connect, and more.
- Shipping – Capacity planning, new Quality Assurance features, interplant transfer, enhanced shipping features, and more.
- Other topics include the new EPICS Casthouse features, enhancements to Kits & Assemblies, Administrative topics
- EPICS Wishlist sessions – Come get your company’s ideas on the official “wishlist” for 2024. These ideas will be sent to all EPICS users in the form of a ballot. The results become our top priority for the development of EPICS in the year to come.
